Roman Wildlife Foundation – Together we build a stronger community

In the Oloserian region live women who, despite their daily responsibilities and family duties, never lose the drive to move themselves and their community forward. It is for them that we decided to create a new project – a place where they can gather, share their stories, and build a better future together.

The story that brought us here

During our visits to Oloserian, we met a group of women who regularly gather to work together, talk, and support one another. Until now, however, they had to meet without any proper shelter – exposed to the sun, wind, and harsh weather, with no place to sit in peace and focus on their work.

Despite this, we saw their determination, skill, and strength as they strive to improve life for themselves and their families. They make traditional handmade products, which they then sell to earn extra income. What they lacked was just one thing – a dignified place to carry out this work.

Our task

The Roman Wildlife Foundation has decided to help the women of Oloserian build a new gathering place – shade under tents, where they will have space to:

• Gather together and support one another as a community of women
• Create traditional handmade products and crafts
• Organize the sale of their products, improving their income
• Build a stronger and more self-sufficient community

Why it matters

We believe that when we support women, we support the entire community. Income from selling their products helps them care for their families, send their children to school, and improve everyday life. Equally important is the gathering place itself – a space where women can share experiences, encourage one another, and feel part of something bigger.

This new place under the tents is therefore not just shelter from the sun, but a symbol of hope, togetherness, and the strength of a women's community that never gives up.
