I believe in the power of a perfectly targeted shot

Although Roman Baláž is not a professional photographer, the work that he creates shows his great feeling for photography, his ability to capture the right moment to pull the shutter release and how to choose a composition in tune with its environment and its colours. His favourite hobby – taking photographs of nature and wild animals, many of which species are among the most endangered, is enhanced by a charitable mission: An effort to help prevent the slaughter of rare species of animals in Africa for profit. This motivates him to go on more and more new expeditions “without weapons”, just with a camera. Therefore he wants to continue to expand his unending photographic cycle. Through auctions of his photographs Roman Baláž raises funds for active and effective support in the fight against this sad phenomenon of modern-day Africa. I believe in the power of a perfectly targeted shot.
